New Update in Micro-Surgical Endodontics Practice

This workshop will introduce the Surgical Operating Microscope, the use of ultrasonic tips and the new biocompatible materials are the most important developments which contributed to improve and increase the long term prognosis from 50% like it was before to more than 95% today. There is a precise protocol that must be followed and then the satisfactory results will arrive!

How to shape the root canal system in a safe and predictable way using Endostar E3 Azure

In modern conservative endodontics, the shaping design of the root canal system is a crucial step to ensure effective disinfection and successful long-term outcomes. The first aim of this workshop is to propose a reproducible sequence that will technically minimize the use of hand-files, and utilizes a new system E3 Azure. The second aim of the hands-on will be to familiarize the clinician with the new era of obturation philosophy by introducing a simple technique of obturation.

Implement the delivering of Local Anesthesia and Management of soft tissue: flap design, incision and atraumatic flap elevation and retraction.
Evaluate the anatomical considerations: inferior alveolar nerve, mental nerve, greater palatine artery, maxillary sinus.
Practice the control of the bleeding, The bony crypt, The locating of the root apex and Crypt management.
Master the negotiation of root-end bevel and root-end preparation and the use of ultrasonic root-end preparation vs handpiece preparation.
Application of Root-end filling materials: SuperEBA, MTA, Bioceramics.
Manipulation of Suture.
Discuses the Post-operative care and 24-hour suture removal.
